Summary
Sword; Rapier - Cup hilted sword with wooden handle inscribed on the blade 'Puna pella patria'. 'Portuguese cup-hilt rapier c1660, inscribed 'PUNA PELLA PATRIA'. The cup has a band with a cavity to catch the point of an opponents sword and snap it off' (M.Jessup). CPW Item number 46 (Dragon).
