Black painted wooden and Bakelite (?) mantel clock with pedimented top and three Corinthian columns either side of dial with Roman numerals and paper face (?), by Gilbert Clock Co., Winston, Connecticut, USA. With winding key.
Provenance
Rachel Morris, (sister of Joan Lander, donor of Sunnycroft). The clock was probably part of the contents of Highfield (adjacent to Sunnycroft) when Rachel Morris' parents bought Highfield in 1919. The clock was then at Buckatree Hall and then the family holiday home in Angelsey, but never at Sunnycroft.
