Many paper notes and an envelope full of notes stuck into book. Initials 'E L-W' on cover in ink . On back ' E.lega-Weekes, Varnello(?), Topsham Road, Exeter' in ink. Read at Exeter 24th July 1912. Reprinted from the transactions of the Devonshire Association for the Advancement of Science, Literature and Art. 1912. One of 12 such booklets given by Fairlynch Museum, Budleigh Salterton, Jan 2005. Given to museum by local family of George Carter who inherited them from Miss Ethyl Lega-Weekes - vice president of the Devonshire Assoc. and noted Anglo-Saxon scholar, she had close scolastic ties with the Rev Reichel.
