Summary
Wet collodion positive of a seated lady. Hand-coloured details are present such as the gold tinting of the jewellery and rouge on her shoulders and cheeks. In stamped metal mount (known as a pinchbeck) and moulded black composition frame (likely to be an early type of thermoplastic). 1850s.
