Summary

A car rug for use in an open top vehicle, comprising a large rectangle of stitched coyote furs backed onto a yellow cotton cloth. Button and loop fatenings. The cloth with a stitched label inscribed 'E Gerrard and Sons'. A pair with TAT/TH/F3/28+29/6 (CMS No. 1304725). Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
