Summary
A car rug for use in an open top vehicle, comprising a large rectangle of stitched lynx furs backed onto a yellow cloth, with a cloth label inscribed 'E Gerrard and Sons. Button and loop fastenings. A pair with TAT/TH/F3/28+29/8 (CMS No. 1304727). Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
