Summary
A model baidarka or kayak collected in Cape Nome, Yukon, 1908. The model contains three figures, one a carved wooden figure dress in seal skin, the other two rag dolls. Associated original label - Given to ME by C.G Cowan on returning from his canoeing trip down the Yukon River to the sea, with Evelyn Penrose. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
