A Somali drinking ladle carved from a single piece of wood with a drinking channel in the handle. The bowl contains fibrous material, which was used to filter the water. Lord Egerton's number 565C. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
