Summary
A Dinka pillow, made from a cylindrical, hollowed out piece of wood covered in animal hide, a carrying handle carved in the centre of the pillow. Associated label. Lord Egerton's number 282A. Collected 7th March 1932. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.

Asociated labels. Dinka Pillow. The Dinkas are a tribe who live on the upper waters of the White Nile. They usually wear a string of beads. They are very charming people.
