Summary

One of two carved wooden Somali spoons for eating rice with. Part of a larger set of spoons TAT/TH/F3/16/1. a - the handle carved with five vertical bands, b- carved with three vertical bands. Ovoid bowls. Collected 1939. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
