Summary
A carved walrus tusk decorated with scrimshaw work, collected in 1902, British Columbia. One side with a cribbage board and carved animals (seals, polar bear and beaver), and scrimshaw work decpicting a seal colony, the reverse with a map of the islands off British Columbia. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
