Summary
A coca de mer. The nut has been cut and adapted as a box, with two small hinges inserted on the top. Associated typed case note Coco-de-Mer Nut (Lodoicea Seychellarum). Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
