Summary
A small Ugandan drum with cow hide stretched over podocarpus wood frame and tied with numerous gut strings, with two curved wooden beaters. Part of Lord Egerton's collection of ethnographic objects once displayed in the Tenants' Hall.

Egerton collection devised to the National Trust in 1960 by Maurice, 4th Baron Egerton of Tatton (1874-1958).
