Summary
Wooden rifle case, covered in leather lined with green baize fastened with two tooled leather straps, brass catch with keyhole (no key), leather and metal handle attached with stitched leather tabs tooled as before. On outside of case four damaged labels one of which has fallen off and is inside case On reverse side also four labels Main central paper label handwritten in black ink reads; Antony Gibbs Esq. 16 He......, London. Other labels illegible / damaged. Label inside lid reads; NAGEL and MENZ / GUNMAKERS TO THE COURT / BADEN-BADEN. Inside base divided into three compartments.
