Summary
A bicorn hat, made circa 1900, used for court/ceremonial purposes. Made from black velvet long pile 'beaver'. Trimmed with silver bullion worked cord with embossed metal button, black silk and cotton cross grain rosette, two gold and red bullion worked tassels, black silk and cotton braid, black silk ribbon as edging and black leather pocket for plume (missing).
