Summary
A skirt, part of a set comprising a day bodice, bodice front, fragment, medal and underarm protectors; made circa 1890. Made from black silk warp, black cotton, green and yellow silk weft. Design of repeat drop paired flowers posies on a striped and moired ground. Trimmed with ruched flounce and self fabric lined with pale pink satin weave. Made by Mme Pell of Modes and Robes, 85 Elizabeth Street, London.
