Summary
A day bodice, part of a set comprising a long skirt, bodice front, fragment, medal and underarm protectors; made circa 1890. Made from black silk warp, black cotton, green and yellow silk weft. Design of repeat drop paired flowers posies on a striped and moired ground. Trimmed with pale pink satin weave as revers, part of sleeves and facings and thirteen black silk covered buttons. Made by Mme Pell of Modes and Robes, 85 Elizabeth Street, London.
