Summary

A George III oblong inkstand, made by Samuel and George Whitford, London 1805. With gadrooned border, on four fluted scroll feet, fitted with mounted glass inkpot and pounce and with oval taper stick with French gadrooned border, centre and extinguisher in fluted holders.
