Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Edward Christopher Egerton (1816-1869), attributed to Sir William Ross RA (London 1794 – London 1860). c.1836-1840. Rectangular. Half-length portrait of a man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a dark blue coat with black velvet collar, white waistcoat and black tie. Blue eyes, fair hair and Newgate fringe, pink complexion, aged 20 -25. Brown background.
