Summary
A glazed wooden case containing four bird specimens. 2 Ptarmigan (in summer plumage), a North American Willow Grouse and a Jack Snipe. The birds are displayed on plinths covered with bark, grass, mosses and heather against a painted blue background. Part of Lord Egerton's collection formerly displayed in the Tenants' Hall.
