Summary

One of a pair of mahogany framed tub chairs, circa 1830. Scrolled arms, covered in red buttoned leather, loose seat cushions, turned, tapered and reeded supports, at the front, plain supports at the back, brass caps and castors.

Provenance

Egerton collection devised to the National Trust in 1960 by Maurice, 4th Baron Egerton of Tatton (1874-1958).
