Summary
A mahogany library table, circa 1812, made by Gillows of Lancaster. Cross banded top, inset with black tooled leather, moulded edges, fitted eight drawers to the frieze, the fronts inlaid with small satinwood panels. These are numbered one to eight in black, turned wood handles, half bobbin mouldings to the lower part of the frieze. Turned moulded and part reeded pillar, triform base and bun feet.
