Summary
A pair of mahogany library tables, circa 1812, made by Gillows of Lancaster. Rectangular in shape with half circular ends, tops lined with black tooled leather, moulded edges, each fitted six frieze drawers, moulded panel friezes, on four scrolled cabriole supports, carved at the knees with acanthus leaves, foliage scrolls and floral paterae, the paw feet, carved water leaves, shaped undertier.
