Summary
White marble, Chimneypiece, Drawing Room, Tatton Park, designed by Lewis William Wyatt (Penrhyn Bay 1777 – Isle of Wight 1853). A white marble chimneypiece decorated with classical motifs and rams heads on the side pilasters, and with ornate brass flambeaux finials terminating the polished steel fire basket. The fire back of classical design decorated with leaves and grapes is topped by a garland framing the Egerton cipher of lion rampant with pheon. Designed by Lewis Wyatt in 1813.
