Tea service, bone china, Japan pattern, number 1642 in an Imari palette, impressed William Brownfield, Cobridge, Staffordshire, c. 1871-80. The set comprises one muffin dish and cover, one large oval plate, one smaller oval plate, two large circular plates, one slop bowl, one sugar bowl, one milk jug, five tea plates, six tea cups, ten saucers and three egg cups.
