Summary
One of a pair of jardinieres and stands, earthenware with lead glaze (majolica), bull rush pattern, painted in colours, impressed marks, Minton, c. 1851-1870. This model, No. 453 ‘Garden pot and stand, Bulrush embossed’, was introduced for the first time at the Great Exhibition in 1851.
