Summary
Vase, hard-paste porcelain, of ovoid shape with trumpet neck and pedestal base, pearl collar, painted with a scene of Napoleon on a horse speaking with a young man with a horse, against a matte blue ground painted with Egyptian lotus beneath a neo-classical band, gilt with tooled details, probably Dagoty, Paris, France, c. 1815-20, later mounted onto a black marble base.
