Summary
Iced fruit cooler, liner, and cover, one of a pair, soft-paste porcelain, decorated in reserves with flowers, gilt foliate enclosures and scale blue surrounds marked with an incised ‘B’ for the Barr, Flight and Barr period, Worcester, c. 1804-13.
Provenance
The 1909 & 1920 Heirlooms at Tatton inventory records ‘Pair French China Vases, liners and covers 11 in. high on scale blue grounds’ in the Drawing Room.
