Summary
Dessert service, bone china, painted in the Sèvres style, with a deep cobalt blue ground in imitation of the bleu de roi, the border with three shaped reserves painted with birds possibly by John Randall (1810-1910), the centre with fruit and flowers in the centre probably painted by William Cook (1800/1-1876), raised gold details, Sevres style monogram in blue enamel, John Rose & Co., Coalport, Shropshire, c. 1855-65.
