Summary
One of a pair of oak-framed corner bench seats or 'banquettes', English, circa 1850, upholstered in green leather with buttoned backs, the padded open arms terminating in scrolled acanthus leaves, the octagonal tapering legs headed with a bulbous knop, at the corner point the two sections are bolted together.
