Summary
A large Spode pot pourri vase, with cover, circa 1817-1819. Of trumpet shape, embossed with rims of white pearls, resting on three gilt paw feet, decorated in pattern 2575. Finely painted with sprays of flowers against a pale yellow ground, within shell shaped panels, reserved upon a dark blue ground richly gilded with leaves and further painted with single flowers. Marked 'SPODE 2575'.
