Summary
One of three mid-nineteenth century China cabinets, made of pine, this one is one of a pair of grained wood dressers with open bases the seven straight shelves supported by shaped sides, the base having shaped lower shelf and turned legs.
Provenance
Knole and the majority of its furniture were accepted by HM Treasury in part payment of death duties and transferred to the National Trust in 1946.
