Summary
Watercolour and graphite on thick cream wove paper by John Fulleylove (1845-1908). Clare College, Cambridge and a bridge over the River Cam with King's College in the background. A man in a long grey coat and hat is looking down over the left-hand side of the bridge and two people in a rowing boat have just passed underneath one of the arches of the bridge. Signed and dated in watercolour in the lower right-hand corner, J Fulleylove 1890. This picture is almost identical to an earlier one dated 1889 which is held in the Yale Center for British Art.
