Summary
Brown ink and wash drawing on paper, 'Painting in England' by William Holman Hunt (London 1827 - London 1910), signed with initials, inscribed and dated, lower left: WHH and, bottom centre: Painting in England, Hastings 1852. The scene shows the artist sitting on coastal hillside sketching the landscape, with hat blowing into wind. Behind him stands a lady exclaiming, "What a delightful Hast!" Drawing is mounted in gilt wooden frame with cream cardboard mount. Multiple labels and markings on reverse.
