Summary
Fireplace. A dark stained wooden surround, with integral shelf supported by three console brackets. Within is a cast iron grate, flanked either side by Maw and Co tiles, the floral patterned ‘Arts and crafts’ tiles are usually attributed to the designer Lewis F Day, there are six set vertically on either side. Between the tiles and the grate is a slender set of Belgian black marble header and slips.
