Full description
Decorated in 1893. The design was printed by Thomas Wardle onto a number of grounds including tusser silk, velveteen and challis (silk and wool) but only cotton and linens were produced in marketable quantities. Often required the full width of the fabric for the repeat (a full 36 inches on linens and cottons).
