Summary
A walnut cabinet, British, designed by Thomas Collcutt, in the Renaissance style, circa 1870, the moulded cornice above a pair of cupboard doors, each cupboard door with recessed stepped moulding framing a relief carved panel, each panel carved with scrolls, birds, and masks surrounding a plain shield, each cupboard door with a brass drop handle, the cupboard doors above two recessed shelves, the partially open sides each with a fluted square-section column terminating in a turned base resting on the base shelf board.
