Summary
Coloured chalks and pencil drawing on three horizontally joined sheets of pale-grey-green paper, Woman with Crossed Arms by Dante Gabriel Rossetti (London 1828 - Birchington 1882), signed with monogram and dated upper right 1870. The head is probably that of Marie Spartali (1844 - 1927) and the chignon hairstyle is unusual for Rossetti's models.
