Summary
Print, hand-coloured with watercolour, The Star Gleaner by Louis B. Davis (1860-1941). Small rectangular book illustration (?), hand coloured print with watercolours. Winged maiden in blue dress bending down to add to collection of stars held in her other arm. Davis was an English watercolourist, book illustrator and stained-glass artist. He was active in the Arts and Crafts Movement and Nikolaus Pevsner referred to him as the last of the Pre-Raphaelites
