Pencil drawing heightened with white, red chalk and wash on paper, A Study of a Girl's Head, Lucy L by John Hungerford Pollen (1858 - 1925), inscribed "Lucy L Hotel Rheinischenhof Mayerne August 58"and inscribed on backing "J.H. Pollen" and dated "'58". A head-and-shoulders portrait drawing of a girl, turned to right, head facing, a pencil drawing with brown picking out the hair and eyes, white buff paper representing her neckline.(Paper mounted on second sheet on which is written J H Pollen). Glazed in plain brown frame.
