Summary
Black and white chalk drawing on paper, Studies of a Female Nude by Sir Edward John Poynter, PRA (Paris 1836 – London 1919), 1875/1900. A sheet of chalk drawings in black chalk on purple paper highlighted in white chalk of female nude from the back, head and shoulders in profile, with freer sketch of full length figure in top right corner. Cream mount, gilt borders in deep set giltwood frame.

Transferred to the National Trust on the death of Sir Geoffrey Le Mesurier Mander (1882-1962)
