The couple's arms are round each other's waists and their hands are clasped. Also on the sheet is a faint pencil drawing, apparently of a young man on a larger scale. A drawing on the reverse is superimposed over a drawing in pencil of the profile of a man's head seen looking left. Unframed, shares cream card mount with WIG/D/238-D/240.
