Summary
Stoneware beer bottle with a stoneware crewtop stopper at the top opening. The bottle has a stoneware handle which is fixed to the neck of the bottle down to the side. Underneath the handle at the bottom side of the bottle is a wooden tap fixed with metal clamps into a stonweare opening extending out from the bottle. On this opeining the following is stamped "Price Sons and Company, Bristol Simplex tap grip Thorned Patent Sole Makers". The metal clamps show signs of corrosion. To the right of the handle on the neck is a stamp mark which reads "Price 4 Bristol". To the left of the handle, on the neck is a stamp mark which reads "2". On the opposite side fo the neck from the handle is a stamp mark which reads "10 G. Carpenter Plough Inn Home Brewed Ales Kidderminster". The colour of the bottle is golden brown from the top down to underneath the handle and from here to the base is cream (apart from the tap and clamps which are wooden and metal). There are slight scuffs, scratched and minor dents to the bottle, however considering its use the bottle is in excellent condition.
