Summary
White marble, Louisa Barbara Catherine Philips, Countess of Lichfield (c.1800-1879) by Lorenzo Bartolini (Vernio, Tuscany 1777 – Florence 1850), 1820s. A portrait bust of the 1st Countess of Lichfield, her hair in ringlets, holding a rabbit. A plaster cast of this bust was found in Lorenzo Bartolini's studio at the time of his death and is now in the collecitons at Gipsoteca Bartoliniana, in the Accademia, in Florence. It was exhibited in the exhibition 'Lorenzo Bartolini' in the Palazzo Pretorio, at Prato, Italy, 1978.
