Summary
Single breasted uniform jacket in red Bristol cloth. The upstanding collar and cuffs are of dark blue embroidered with oak leaves and acorns, the collar also has two Tudor roses. There are nine buttons decorated with a crown and wreath of laurel leaves with an inscription on the back. There is a centre slit in the back piped with white Bristol cloth and with an embroidered panel of oak leaves and acorns. The top half of the jacket is lined with white silk twill, interlined and quilted, the lower part is lined with white Bristol cloth. There are two pockets, one inside, the other outside by the waist seam, there is also a hook for the belt on the left side.
