Summary
Thirty-hour striking longcase clock by E.W. Bowles, Wimborne. In oak case with some mahogany veneers and crossbanding. Scroll pediment hood with brass capped columns. Rectangular trunk door. Plain plinth with shaped base. Two-train four-pillar chain driven movement with anchor escapement and locking plate striking. Square printed dial with painted spandrels. Roman numerals. Painted bird, semi-circular calender aperture and signature on dial. Steel hands.
