Summary
A four-leaf folding screen, probably Chinese export, late 19th century Decorated with depictions of Chinese images, paintings on the top and embroidery below. The back with a blueish fabric on a paper base. The whole with a black and gilt painted frame with metal corner protection at the four outside corners.
Provenance
Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). NT ownership commenced from 19th August 1982.
