Summary

A mahogany chest on chest, English, mid 19th century. 18th century style, the upper section with a Greek key moulded cornice and two short and three long drawers flanked by canted corners. The lower section with a slide and three further long drawers, raised on bracket feet.

Provenance

Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). NT ownership commenced from 19th August 1982.
