Summary
Print, engraving, A North View of the Pisaiack Falls in the Province of New Jersey in North America by Thomas Davies (c.1737-1812) with native Indians with rifles in the foreground, from a drawing by Thomas Davies. The Great Falls are the second largest falls in America (only exceeded by Niagara), and stand to a height of approximately 77 feet, and are 280 feet wide. The first recorded Europeans to see the falls two Labadist missionaries in March 1680.
