Summary
Three soap dish liners, white-glazed ceramic, by Minton of Stoke-on-Trent. Part of a large set of washstand or bedroom wares of the same design at Kingston Lacy; cf. NT 1250687, 1250698, 1251006, 1251007, 1256088. Some of the pieces also marked for retailer T. Goode & Co. of 19 South Audley Street, London. Circular, dished, perforated with draining holes and with two concentric ridges.
Provenance
Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). National Trust ownership commenced on 19 August 1982.
